David DiLorenzo is a natural stand-up comedian. He started out like most comedians,as the “Class Clown” in the fourth grade and has been making people laugh ever since. He got his first big break on June 4, 2026 when the legendary Rodney Dangerfield, performing in Providence, answered the young comedian’s request to come on stage and try his own “Rodney” impression. David did just that and nailed it. Rodney was very impressed.So much so, that he told David to make sure he continues his career in comedy.
He took Rodney’s words to heart and has been traveling the country as a headliner for the past 25 years. David uses material from his own life experiences and enjoys poking fun at himself. His favorite topics are Marriage & Relationships, Dieting, NASA, Sports, Growing up Italian, Mob Movies & Television Commercials. David loves to include the audience in his act, but he never embarrasses them personally.
David began his comedy career working with dozens of talented Boston area comedians in the early 1980′s.Since then he has performed with such well known comedians as, Pat Cooper, Harland Williams, Steven Wright, Damon Wayans, Robert Klein, Anthony Clarke, & Joe Piscopo.
